We slept pretty well in the
Krabi La Playa Resort in Ao
Nang on our last night here.
We have breakfast abundantly as always, even more so now, because we don't think we're going
to have lunch.
After breakfast we pack and we are ready around eleven o'clock.
We bring the suitcases down, they are kept safe there, and we go for a walk, after all we
are not picked up until 2:30 pm for transport to the airport.
We sit along the beach for a while, it is very hot, and then we walk back.
Then we decide to have a little something to eat, and we go back to Kong Kitchen where we
order satay kai, chicken satay.
It comes after a while, and doesn't taste great, too much curry, and dry meat.
Then comes steak kai, chicken breast, which we didn't order.
It sounds a bit alike, satay and steak, and yet not.
We eat most of it.
The bill is surprising, two small mediocre dishes are more expensive than three tasty dishes
at KoDam
Kitchen yesterday, strange.
The transport to the airport is on time and of course we are also on time at the airport.
We have booked online priority check-in and better seats, but that is of course not on the
paper we have with the reservation at Thai Vietjet
Air.
When we join the queue for priority check-in, an angry lady tries to get us to another,
much longer queue, but when we have told her twice that we have done something online, she
goes to inquire anyway.
Then she becomes friendlier and even a little helpful.
The plane lands too late and therefore departs a little too late.
It is not really comfortable, very crowded, cramped seats and little legroom despite the
better seats that have been booked, and it does not smell fresh in the plane.
But we can get a drink thanks to the better seats, at our own expense of course, and the
passengers who don't sit in the 'better' seats can't 'get' anything to drink.
We land in Bangkok only 5 minutes late, and we have to wait a while for the luggage.
Then we go looking for Moue.
We find her quickly and then we go to her house, but first something to eat, because there
is nothing in the house.
We stop at a restaurant along the service road of the motorway where we also ate a few times
a few years ago.
It's not busy, the food comes quickly and it tastes ok.
Then termites come flying out of their nest, thousands.
And that's not fun and it's not tasty to eat there either.
We pack all the food up and drive
home in Lat Krabang.
We're pretty tired.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
